Live Dealer Ultimate Texas Hold'em

Play Live Dealer Ultimate Texas Hold’Em Online at FanDuel Casino

Texas Hold’em Poker is easily one of the most popular poker variants in the world of both online casinos and land-based casinos. It’s a staple game that you’ll find variations of no matter where in the world you decide to play. In the modern world of online casino sites, players can now enjoy the live Ultimate Texas Hold'em experience from the comfort of their own homes.

Live Ultimate Texas Hold'em takes the standard rules of Texas Hold ’em and turns it up a notch. The major difference between the ultimate version and traditional Texas Hold’em is that in the live Ultimate Texas Hold'em, players go head to head against the dealer and not against each other like in standard poker.

Live Ultimate Texas Hold'em is a great game for poker players learning the ins and outs of poker skills. The dealer won’t be able to see you, but you can see them; not only that, but the house edge is relatively low at 2%, so players can expect some regular wins. Professional dealers keep the gameplay going, and the unlimited number of players means that you will never have to wait for other players to fill the table at this casino game.

Pull up your chair to the virtual poker table and play live Ultimate Texas Hold'em and try to make the ultimate five-card poker hands.

How to Play Live Ultimate Texas Hold'em

If you’re already familiar with different versions of poker, poker hands, or Texas Hold’em, live dealer Ultimate Texas Hold'em should come very easily to experienced poker players. The objective of the game is relatively simple: form the best five-card poker hand out of your two cards and the five community cards.

With live Ultimate Texas Hold'em, the rules vary from traditional poker. Instead of playing against other players, you’ll be playing against the dealer, almost similar to blackjack.

Once you’re in the Ultimate Texas Hold'em game, the dealer uses a single deck, players place their ante bets and side bets, the cards are dealt, and the game round begins.

Ultimate Texas Hold'em Rules

To get started in a game of Ultimate Texas Hold'em at an online casino, players must place an ante bet and a blind bet. The ante and blind are done before cards are dealt and are mandatory to be dealt a hand. After that, the players are dealt two cards face up, which are known as the “pocket cards.” After the pocket cards come the flop, turn, and river. These five community cards are used with a player’s hole cards to form the best five-card hand they can.

After a player receives their two cards, the dealer’s cards get dealt face-down. They can then check or raise. After making a choice, the first three community cards get dealt. This is the flop. Now, the dealer will deal the final two community cards, known as the turn and river cards.

At this point, players can make a play bet. The play bet is a bet equal to the ante bet. Players can also choose to fold if they feel like they have a losing hand. A standard rule in Ultimate Texas Hold'em is the notion of “dealer qualifying,” which is that the dealer needs at least a pair and can only keep playing with a pair or better.

Since players play against the deal and not other players, they don’t have to worry about what other hands are on the table and instead can focus solely on the dealer’s hand.

The Play Bet and Trips Bonus Bet

Ultimate Texas Hold'em has two side bets that make the game even more lucrative. The play bet involves raising your ante bet by either 3x or 4x. Don’t delay this bet, though, because, after the flop, you can only place a play bet at a 2x raise. The idea behind the play bet is to raise as early as possible in order to maximize your winning hand.

Play Bet Payout Odds

  • Raise x1: Ante bet x1 Pays the Ante x1
  • Raise x2: Ante bet x2 Pays the Ante x2
  • Raise x3: Ante bet x3 Pays the Ante x3
  • Raise x4: Ante bet x4 Pays the Ante x4

The optional trips bonus bet allows players to raise the stakes even further. The trips bonus bet allows players to boost their winning hands even more by getting a three-of-a-kind or higher. This side bet applies regardless of what the dealer is holding. Players can only raise once per hand, and players who place an ante bet and a blind bet can also place the optional trips bet.
